Brooke D. Kish, Ph.D.
 
 

Brooke grew up in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Rutgers University.  She earned both her Master of Arts and Doctoral degrees in School Psychology and Child & Family Studies from the University of Denver. Brooke’s doctoral dissertation work examined trauma exposure among children with and without learning disabilities.  Brooke is a licensed school psychologist, child and adolescent psychotherapist, and is currently obtaining her post-doctoral supervision for clinical psychologist licensure.  She provides diagnostic assessment, counseling, consultation, and psychotherapeutic services to clients.  She has worked closely with children and adolescents having various social, emotional, and behavioral difficulties for approximately nine years. Brooke also has experience working with children and adolescents with learning disabilities as well as children with neuron-developmental disabilities such as Autism and Asperger Syndrome.  Her hobbies include competitive track and field running, cross-country running, and cross-country skiing.  She also enjoys hiking with her husband and her chocolate Labrador, Bosco.
